日本人が日本の評価を知らないのは英語ができないから、と感じるケースは多々ある。というのも、日本人が日本/日本人の客観評価を知るための言語が日本語に限定されている以上、海外からどのように思われているかを知る機会は圧倒的に少ないのが現状だったりする。

だから、日本人が日本/日本人を知るために英語を勉強する、というアプローチはアリなのではないかな、と。
